Thanksgiving

We had our first Thanksgiving dinner at our house the other day...and I cooked! I made a beautiful turkey and all the fixin's. I also made three pies. I'm pretty impressed with myself, nothing was burnt or horrible tasting. It wasn't as stressful or as hard as I thought it would be. I really dont know why everyone makes such a big deal about it. I actually had fun! I'll post some pictures soon. It was nice to have our first thanksgiving at home though. It was just the four of us and my mom and sisters but it was wonderful. In a few short weeks we'll have our first Christmas in this house and Desmond will be home this year too so I'm really excited.

We're home and settled

Our vacation was wonderful! We all had a great time at Disneyworld and on the cruise. UNO loved seeing all of the Disney characters, the rides and shows. DOS even enjoyed going on the rides and seeing the big "broadway" shows on the cruise. It was tiring though! We started off the trip on a red-eye flight so that totally messed with the kids and their sleeping habits. Then we got to Florida, put our stuff down and went straight to Epcot. There were no naps and we stayed out late almost everynight so UNO did have his moments. He slept through dinner a few times. He was eating one minute and then the next his head was on the table and he was out! Disney cruise line offers daycare for kids 3 and under which was a nice break for D and I. We put them in there a few times and it was great...for us at least. =) We do feel like we need another vacation after this vacation though. We'll be going to California next week to visit D's family so hopefully everything goes well and we can relax a little. I will post pictures soon.
